Welcome!

Beginning therapy is a brave and meaningful step, an inflection point, a moment of reflection, and possibility. Whether you’re navigating a specific challenge or simply seeking to understanding yourself in a deeper way, this can be the start of a journey toward greater awareness to inform future choices in life.

Therapy offers a space to explore what matters most to you, safely and at your own pace. It’s not always easy, but it can be profoundly rewarding. In our prospective work together, I’ll offer a grounded, relational space where you can feel heard, supported, and met as you are.

If you’re wondering whether therapy might be right for you, feel free to get in touch to arrange an initial session or ask any questions.  I’d be glad to walk alongside you as you take the next step forward. This website covers my integrative counselling practice and seeks to give more information about me, the work I do and how you can access therapy with me.

Frequently asked questions

What is the process to begin therapy?

Starting therapy is simple. Contact me via email for an initial consultation to discuss your needs and schedule appointments.

What can I expect in the first session?

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other. I’ll ask a little about what brings you to therapy, and we’ll explore what you’re hoping to get out of the process. There’s no need to prepare anything, just come as you are. Us being a good fit together is incredibly important for therapy outcomes, and this is an opportunity for both of us to explore if we would be able to work together.

How often do sessions take place?

I usually work with clients on a weekly basis, at the same time each week. This regular rhythm helps build trust and continuity, and my preference would be to work with you in this fashion.

How long are the sessions?

Each session lasts 50 minutes.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes, I offer only online sessions at this point in time.

How long will I need to be in therapy?

Some people come for just a few sessions to work through a specific issue; others stay longer to explore deeper patterns. We’ll check in regularly to make sure the work continues to feel useful and relevant for you.

Is what I say in therapy confidential?

Yes, everything you share is held in strict confidence, in line with the BACP’s ethical guidelines. There are a few rare exceptions (such as serious risk of harm), which I’ll explain in our first session.

Do you work with LGBTQ+ clients?

Yes, I have a special interest in working with LGBTQ+ individuals. My practice is inclusive, affirming, and shaped by a deep understanding of the complexities of identity, belonging, and lived experience.
